A mentor can be another business person with great business acumen, or someone you have a personal relationship with who always seems to see life from the right angle. Learn as much as you can from your mentors about what makes them who they are and what drives them, and apply that to your own actions. Also, make sure you spend regular time with your mentors; you will find their positive outlook will rub off on you and keep you moving forward.
Small Networking Groups
Ally yourself with a small business networking group that feeds off each other's positivity. You will know when you have found such a group because when you walk into the room it will buzz with their energy. When a group of people who are all passionate about their business congregate to share ideas, the wealth of their knowledge and the force of their attitude will in turn motivate you.
Read
Read books about successful people. Learn about their journey and pay special note to their attitude. Even if not everything they write resonates with you, you will find that there is something about their outlook that you can derive inspiration from.
Believe
Create your own successful attitude. Be the sort of person you look up to as a mentor. How you perceive your life and your world is what shapes your daily experience. If you believe you are a successful person you will take the right risks and accept the right opportunities that will lead to your own success.
Surround yourself with energy and positivity and you will be motivated, inspired and supported on your own successful journey.
