‘Stationery’ and ‘stationary’ are words that are often mixed up. But, there is an easy way to remember which is which.
When you want to write ‘stationery’, as in envelopes, pens etc. remember ‘e’ for envelope and ‘e’ for stationery.
When you want to write ‘stationary’, as in remaining still, think of ‘a’ for at rest and ‘a’ for stationary.
